Rebecca & Ben
Tuffon Hall
Essex
Rebecca and Ben threw the rule book out the window and had none of that traditional ‘not seeing each other before the wedding’ business. Instead, they spent the morning together, hands-on with all the last-minute prepping and organising. It was such a lovely way to kick things off super chilled and full of excitement. Rebecca got ready at the house at Tuffon Hall, surrounded by family. All generations were there: nieces, nephews and her wonderful grandmother keeping an eye on everything. The atmosphere was warm, busy, and full of love. Rebecca’s dress was an absolute dream, a two piece with all the beading, simply stunning. The flowers from Stem and Stem London were just stunning. The colours were vibrant and joyful, perfectly matching the mood of the day.
They tied the knot outside (yes—outside! A rare treat!). Rebecca’s dad walked her through the garden and up the steps to meet Ben, with their gorgeous dog Lola alongside to greet her too. It was such a beautiful, heartfelt ceremony, small and intimate, just a handful of their closest friends and family soaking it all in before the rest of the guests joined later.
The afternoon was perfection: Three Mile Hill provided the music, drinks flowed, guests nibbled on delicious canapés from Crown Catering, and the garden was buzzing with chatter and laughter. Group shots were kept to a minimum so the couple had lots of time to get round to chat with everyone and enjoy games, one of which was ‘beer pong’ my fave. Let’s not forget the decor, disco balls and tonnes of gorgeous florals! The wine bottle table plan in particular was a favourite of mine! Dinner was a feast, a sharing roast that had everyone reaching across the table and passing plates around. The Yorkshire puddings were absolutely enormous, guests were in their element! After dinner everyone got involved in a big quiz about the couple. The evening was finished up with a DJ and The Bronco Booth horse box, the sun set on a happy, colourful day.
Personal Highlight:
It had to be the quiz that all guests got involved in. Using the couple’s professions (music and medicine) it was categorised to suit and bought out everyones competitive side. I also particularly loved the bride/groom masks that everyone used to answer a ‘who said it round.
